Dr. Webb graduated with from Williams College in 1993. He completed medical school in 1999 at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, did his surgical internship at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. He then received his orthopedic training at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received three awards for his research, commitment to orthopedic education, and overall performance in residency. Dr. Webb then returned to New England, and in 2005 he completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. During this time he served as an assistant team physician for the Boston Celtics and the Northeastern Huskies. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopic Association of North America and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

 

Dr. Webb treats a wide variety of conditions affecting the shoulder and knee. He has a particular interest in Sports Medicine and the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries in all ages. He also has a special interest in cartilage restoration procedures and alternatives to total knee replacement surgery in younger patients. He has done research and lectured on various aspects of cartilage injuries. He has presented papers at national and international meetings.

 

Dr. Webb is on active staff at both Wentworth-Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH and has privileges at the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He is a team physician for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats.
