Dr. Geppert graduated from Harvard College and New York University School of Medicine. He completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (formerly Rutger's) in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then completed a one- year Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Geppert is on staff at both Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH, and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and an active member of the American Foot and Ankle Society.
His orthopedic interests include all surgery of the foot and ankle in addition to sports medicine and a broad range of general orthopedic surgery. During his training and fellowship, Dr. Geppert worked extensively with the New York City Ballet and the Rutger's University athletic teams. He has co-authored chapters in medical textbooks on surgery of the rheumatoid foot, ankle sprains, and sports-related foot and ankle injuries. He has published more than fifteen articles in peer-reviewed orthopedic journals and has given presentations at national meetings.
