A native New Englander, Dr. Buckley graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital, Gainesville. During his residency, he served as the assistant team physician for the University of Florida Gators and served as a clinical instructor at the University of Florida, Department of Orthopedics. He completed an Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. During that time, he served as the assistant team physician for the Oklahoma State University Cowboys, Oklahoma City University Chiefs, Oklahoma City 89ers (Triple A Baseball), and the Oklahoma City Cavalry (Continental Basketball Association).

 

Dr. Buckley is on staff at both Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. He also has privileges at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH, as well as the Portsmouth Regional Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center. He serves locally as the team physician and orthopedic consultant for the University of New Hampshire and as team physician for several area high schools. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Buckley has been published in multiple orthopedic journals.
